It's Time for King Cake

It's Carnival Season and with the parades, parties and the purple, gold and green decorations also comes those delicious rings of gooey, sugary goodness - King Cakes.

I've sampled four different King Cake's this season and while I'll have to say my favorite came from Manny Randazzo's bakery, I don't think there is such a thing as a bad King Cake and that certainly qualifies as cool.

Beignets

It's the beginning of the new year and like most folks, I took another stab at New Year's resolutions; this year, however, I decided to focus on resolutions that are pleasant rather than those involving deprivation.
