Cool K-cups
I've been enjoying my new Keurig single serve coffee system. I like having a fresh cup of coffee practically on demand and I really like being able to switch between a variety of coffee blends without having to make a whole pot of each.
I discovered that this convenience comes at a price (think 50 cents per cup) so I went in search of K-cup savings strategies. I found three main ways to cut the cost of using the Keurig:
#1 - Join one of the coffee clubs and have your K-cups shipped to you.
#2 - Try My-Kaps and turn your used K-cups into reuseable K-cups by filling them with your own favorite coffee.
#3 - Use the refillable coffee filter basket

Tea Time

Typically, I'm a hard core coffee person - I like it bold; I like it black. Recently, however, I sampled a beverage that I now equate to "crack." It's called Vanilla Roobis Tea Latte and it can be found at Starbucks.
The tea is full leaf African roobis paired with vanilla and cinnamon. It is supposedly loaded with anti-oxidants and it is caffeine-free; that certainly qualifies as cool. If you add in the "yum" factor, it is very cool.
The tea bags are made by Tazo, though I've yet to find how to acquire those specific bags anywhere; I can't even find them direct from Tazo. So, for now, I just head down to my neighborhood push...err...Starbucks and shell out the cash one cuppa at a time.
